David McCoy, President, Croquet Enterprises and Acting General Manager, National Croquet Center

After retiring from a 34-year career as an executive with Exxon International in New York City, David became a permanent Florida resident and a “snowbird.” In 2002 he was talked into playing croquet at the Palm Beach Polo Club. He has been “hooked” ever since, now playing in Championship flight. Elected to the Croquet Foundation of America in 2009, he volunteered and was elected to lead the NCC management team. He plans to develop The National Croquet Center into a more vibrant and successful mega-center for croquet, with an active and growing local and national membership.

Bill Mead, Director of Croquet

Sandy Coto, Directors of Events

Sandy moved to Palm Beach in 1986. After staying home with her two daughters for several years, she purchased the Gymboree Play Program franchise in 1994. Her business earned Parenting magazine’s premier play program and customer service awards for 8 consecutive years, 1994-2001. She subsequently sold her franchise and co-founded a successful event planning business, Master Planners. Sandy brings her boundless energy, outstanding customer service skills, business acumen and impressive Rolodexes to the role of Directors of Events for the National Croquet Center. We are excited to have her. She's fabulous!

Shelly Mayes, Membership Director

Shelly was born in Birmingham, Alabama and was raised in Georgetown, South Carolina. She has a great "southern charm" about her. She has resided in Florida for the past 10 years and loves it! Previous work experience includes managing the family insurance business for 9 years and working in the airline industry for 10 years. She brings her great customer service and hard working business ethics to the NCC. We are proud to have her join our team.

Bobbi Segal, Comptroller

Bobbi moved to Florida in 1989. Her love of nature made Florida the perfect choice for year around gardens that cater to the needs of Floridian wildlife. She is very involved in the community and because of her lifetime committment to check and balances, brings a high standard work ethic to the NCC.

The Croquet Grille, Banquet and Special Events

Sandy James Fine Foods has taken over responsibilities for the Croquet Grill. It is fair to say that we have never before had such a high quality of food service at the Center.
As Caterer at the National Croquet Center they strive to have 100% member and guest satisfaction.
Thank you for all of your continued support!
